My First Fitting!

Hi everyone! I'm so happy! The highlight of the day was of course the first fitting done at Joel Escober's place. It was funny because it seems like I have the whole entourage with me! My little sister Aila, Carla which is my Matron of Honor, her kid Nike, Carlo her hubby, Tita Joy and Vic my H2B was all with me! Joel even cracked a joke about my support team! Hahahaha! He is so nice and funny pa!

I was afraid of the day actually. I was scared that they will need to adjust the measurements, "baka kasi they need to make it loose". I thought I gained weight but instead, they needed to make adjustments "para sikipan!" Pumayat pa ata ako! Yahoooo! All I need to do now is to target my arms, nakaka-imbyer sila! My arms are just too fat!! T_____T

Oh well, more boxing training for me..

These will be the last time I will post pictures of my gown, that is before the wedding lang naman! Hehehehe! I really want it to be a surprise, but I just cant help sharing! Hehehehehe! ^______^  Anyway, lining palang naman. Can't see much of the gown pa so here it goes!

I met Ate Cora. She was so nice.
Gosh! I love what I am wearing!

Nike looking at her Mommy2

Hiihii! My fatty arms needs to go! It has to be slimmer!
Ewwww! But Joel says I am SEXY! Bola!

Joel likes it and me too!  Sexy daw ako!
Yahooooooo!!
Hubby is happy with the dress. Next week, Emil will take naman his measurements for his tux. Excited sya!

87 Days to go!!!

87 days to go and we are off to the altar! Yesterday we attended Wedding and Debut 2011 Bridal Fair, it is by far the grandest bridal fair we ever attended. Booked additional suppliers for our big day here.

Accomplishments:

VIC'S TUX - Emmanuel  Ocampo Fashion House
We loved what we saw at E.Ocampo's spot at the bridal fair. The designer was soft spoken , nice and young. The suit worn by the mannequin was beautiful and Vic loved it! The price was a steal but they gave us another 10% off of its original price. Sweeeeeeeet!

CAKE! - Gervy's Amazing Cakes
Another fabulous find during the wedding fair! Fell in love with the display cake and the flayers they gave us was like a personal note for me. It says, "Celebrate with CHOCOLATE. Chocolate -wrapped cake by Gervy's Amazing Cakes." Come on! Did they know we are planning a chocolate themed wedding? Haha!!

The price is a bit off the budget but because I have great friends, who cares about the price?? My cool college friends are going to pay for our cake!! Yipee! We love you guys and so as the cake!

BRIDE'S SHOES - PD
Yes its not the brand I envisioned myself wearing, its not Kate Spade, its not Nine West and not even Charles and Keith! But it was the shoes that spoke to me. I heard it say, "Buy Me. I was made for you."  After the long and tiring search I finally found them!
Just what I want. Just what I need.
Finally!

Heart's Day 2011

Valentine's day is the time people are expected to get mushy and cheesy! I'm ready for chocolates, roses, cards, movies and dinner dates! Yeiy!!! This year Vic and I had two separate celebrations for hearts day. Another Yeiy!!

Post Valentine's Day!!!

Imagine watching this  scene in 3D! Wow!
For our post V-Day, we had pizza, pasta and cake at Amici and then we watched Tangled! The movie was so romantic and funny at the same time. We had seen several movies in 3D but Tangled was the best by far! Maybe because the movie was timely for the valentines. Anyway heart's day or not it's a must see movie, really cute!

Post V-Day dinner date at Amici! Yummy scallops and gelato mango cake!
 Heart's Day!!!

We usually have coffee at Starbucks on V-Day but because of our grumbling stomachs we opted to have a dinner date instead. We are a bit surprised and happy because the restaurants and the mall itself  is not that much crowded. Most probably because V-Day for this year was a Monday. Anyway after a long day of work good thing we manage to have a simple dinner date at The Old Spaghetti house.

We cant forget the V-Day gifts of course!
Chocolates! Cards and lots of gifts for Heart's Day!

For valentines TOSH gave customers free pictures!
Happy Hearts Day Everyone!!!!

99 Days to go!

Today is our 30th monthsary, Vic also reminded me that we only have 99 days before the big day! Wow! Time flies so fast! I promised my self to write about our accomplishments after reaching the 100 days before the wedding, but because I got my hands full this past few days, I am now writhing about the accomplishments and whats next with the 99 days left before the big day!

Accomplishments:

CHURCH - The Cathedral Parish of St. Andrew in Paranaque
This is where my parents got married, it is where I was baptized and where Vic proposed!

This is it! "THE" door!

RECEPTION+CATERER - Bali Garden in Bacoor Cavite
Love the place! When we saw it for the first time we really knew this was the place for us!

I love the colors and the capiz!!!

GOWN - Joel Escober
Love him and his design! If you read my previous blog about him, need I say more? He is the best!

WEDDING COORDINATOR (On the Day) - The One Exclusive
First reason why we got them is that they fit the budget! Package includes on the day coordination with 4 coordinators plus host. Hoping so much for them meet our expectations.

INVITES - Wink!
Booked them during a wedding fair so the price is very reasonable. I wanted our invites to be simple but formal and not cheap looking. Carla and Carlo is our sponsors for the invites. Yeiy!!!

BRIDESMAID GOWNS - 7-in-1 Dress
Love this dresses. Because our budget is too limited I asked our friends to shoulder their dresses. I love the idea that they can use it after my wedding, its just like they are investing on a perfect dress.

GROOM'S SHOES - GBX
Love that Vic chose lace up shoes! It was pure leather and on sale! Perfect!

PHOTO+VIDEO - Nice Print Photography
Time was on our side when we booked Nice Print. Booked them 2010 before the wedding of Regine and Ogie, they where the photographers and videographers for that event. I knew they will have higher rates after that. We are also lucky to have Carla and her haggling skills!

HMUA - Mike Bawa
He is a makeup artist of ABS-CBN and he did Carla and Clariz' makeup for their wedding too. I haven't booked him yet, but I hope I dont change my mind.

UNITY COINS - Matus Jewellery
My Mom and Tito John was surprised when I told them how much this was. But Vic and I wanted them, we plan to make them a family heirlooms so the price for this was not an issue.

HONEYMOON - Surprise daw!!! Gift from Ninang Jenny!!! Yahoooooo!!!

Waiting for its arrival and confirmation!!

WEDDING RINGS - c/o Maan my best friend! Yehey!!!

SOUVENIRS & GIVEAWAYS - Cadbury Chocolate Bars

I must! I must! I must not overspend!

I finally found the HMUA that I want but it was disheartening to know I cannot afford her rates. The day has already ended but I am still here whining about things I cannot have. Sigh.

My sandess about Mayone Bakunawa (THE Makeup artist I really really want) made me want to turn to the binge eating I usually do when I am depressed. Bukas I will check if the BreadTalk in Festival Alabang is still open! I wanted BreadtTalk's Fire Flosss and my favorite Tuna bread, but after a while I realized these breads are expensive too! wahhhhhhhhhhhhh! Why must all great things be so expensive!!!

Anyway back to my HMUA. I still feel sad but thanks to w@wies, I am ow considering another make-up artist... He is is actually within the our budget and my w@wies has nothing but rave reviews about him.. So medyo happy na rin ako kahit confused on who to pick pa din. I will just mention nalang who this HMUA, if decided na ako to get him.

Key Takeways:

I must! I must! I must not overspend! Sometimes we feel, konti lang naman ang sobra from our original budget kaya go go go na! But if we add those "konting sobra" we are going to be surprised how much it will add up. Might end up bankrupt and in depths kaya buti pa STICK TO THE BUDGET nalang! Specially if there are alternatives that wont sacrifice quality of work!

Hehehehe!

Anyway instead of my planned binge eating I will just look at the pictures during our date at BreadTalk. Super Yum! Baka sakaling mabusog na ko sa pag tingin dito wala pang gastos!
