One Year!

The wedding feels like yesterday and yet here we are celebrating our 1st year anniversary! I couldn't be happier! Vic is such a blessing and I thank God everyday for him.

 On the eve of our anniversary Vic asked me what am I going to wear the day of May 18th. I told him I wanted to wear the sneakers he gave me weeks ago. He then rummaged thru his backpack and then said; "Love wag yun, hindi yun bagay dito." He gave me a black box and said happy anniversary! Awwwwww.. I was happy with the sparkly thingie inside the box but his gesture sealed the deal!!!!  I love surprises and Vic knows that! (^_______^)

We had a simple yet meaningful celebration. We went to Las Paellas for dinner, aside from the yummy meals, it has been our tradition to celebrate in this restaurant. We actually became an official couple in this place too yah know! ^____^ After ordering Vic excused him self and said he needed to buy cigarettes. I was bit annoyed when the appetizer came to our table with him still away, but my heart skipped a beat when he came back with flowers.. And again, Awwwwwwwww.... Lucky me... He's just so sweet.

We went home with an 18 inch pizza to celebrate our anniversary with the family.  I got him gifts too! It's not as expensiv as the one he gave me, but he loves it!

It's a great feeling that everyone is happy for us  on our one year anniversary. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! More and more and Mooooooore to come!

Thank you Lola!

My sisters and I together with my cousins are so lucky to have Lola Lily as our grandmother. She's been in the U.S. for more than two decades but she never forget about us! Eventhough she lives far from us, she always make it a point that we hear from her. She never forget to send us birthday cards, call us on the phone and now a days spend late nights (her time) talking to us thru skype during weekends. Once in a while she sends us the all time favorite "PACKAGE". Yup we call it that! Lola fills a balikbayan box and send it tho the Philippines every now and then. She fills it up with shoes, clothes, vitamins, soap, perfumes, toys, and everything else! I got home and was so happy to see our pantry filled up with the favorite PX stuff from Lola! Yeiy!!!!

Some of the goooooood stuff!  This is only for us, imagine how much she send for five houses!

Eat pistachio RIGHT NOW and MAGNUM (almonds) please!
Pay for ALL of my cousin's and pamangkin's education.
Have a baby in an instant....
