Was really looking forward to Sunday. My hubby was working 13 days straight and this Sunday was finally his rest day! I pity him a lot because the nature of his work was physically and mentally demanding. I could only imagine him counting the days till tprecious day. Today, to make his rest day more special I prepared him a special dish, Spicy Buttered Shrimp!
How to make it:
I decided to keep the shell on and just cut the shrimp's antenna. The shrimp with the shell is more flavor full. After cleaning it I let it simmer in 7Up (soft drink). This will add sweetness to the shrimp and its sauce. Set aside the shrimp after it simmers. Saute garlic in butter, add the shrimp and lee kum kee spicy garlic sauce. You can add more spicy garlic sauce depending on your taste. Finally, ENJOY! Just like my hubby did!
